The Last of the Aventadors

They say that all good things must come to an end, and the Lamborghini Aventador is no exception. As 2021 comes to a close, Lamborghini is proud to release their final and most grand iteration of the Aventador yet, the LP 780-4 Ultimae. This final installment in the Aventador series brings a close to not only the Aventador name, but also is the last of the Lamborghinis to be powered fully by a V12 engine. As Lamborghini makes the shift into the future they have pledged to make all of their future vehicles hybrids, getting rid of fully gas powered engines in favor of more eco-friendly electric motors. With this huge change on the horizon, Lamborghini bid the Aventador series farewell with a 769 HP naturally aspirated 6.5 liter V12 engine, the last truly raging bull.

Being the last iteration of the Aventador, the Ultimae comes packed to the brim with the best features from the last decade of Aventadors all wrapped up in one, beautifully designed package. The newest bull in the pack comes available in coupe and roadster form, with 350 and 250 models being produced respectively. Shedding 55 pounds since it was last known as the Aventador S, the LP 780-4 weighs in at a staggeringly slim 3,417 pounds while gaining an extra 39 horsepower. That extra 39 horsepower helps make for a blazing fast zero-to-sixty coming in at 2.8 seconds and hitting a top speed of 221 miles per hour. Sleeker and faster than ever before this V12 masterpiece is sure to bring a great era to a memorable close.

Style has long been an area in which Lamborghini has innovated and exceeded in, and the newest model is no exception. Coming in 18 enticing standard color options, the LP 780-4 will also be a part of Lamborghini’s Ad Personam bespoke program, which boasts 300 unique color options. Inspired by models past, yet unique all on it’s own, the Ultimae ditches the aggressive spoiler the SVJ had and comes with a newly designed front bumper and more aggressive rear diffuser. The LP 780-4 will come equipped with carbon ceramic brakes and an automatic single-clutch ISR seven-speed transmission in order to deliver all of it’s 769hp to every inch of the track in jaw-clenching fashion. Improved style, performance and handling are why the newest Lamborghini Aventador LP 780-4 is a must have for any true motorsport or vehicle enthusiast.

Bringing a decade of legendary vehicles to a close, the Ultimae is an ode to those that came before it while also being the last of it’s kind. As Lamborghini races into the future with a lineup of hybrids planned to dominate by 2030, the LP 780-4 offers enthusiasts one last chance to bask in exhaust fumes and the roar of a V12 engine. A collection of the greatest parts of each past Aventador, the Ultimae is truly a masterpiece that will be forever immortalized in motorsport history.
